The fact that differentiates us from rest of the manufacturers is the parent raw material BILLETS which are High Quality & 100% HOT ROLLED and confirms to real Grade 60 international standards, with each heat number being SGS Internationally Certified and pre-inspected before shipment with Chemical Testing done through inhouse Spectrometer for each heat.

Union Steel Industries achieved and exhibited a reputable position through constructive and genuine approach in business processes and reinforces its position by building closer relationships with its customers through its strong commitment towards quality assurance.

Union Steel Industries’ Billets used to fulfill the required Chemical Standards as well, where the minimum Carbon content is 0.28-0.33% and Manganese as I 25 1 4%, much higher from what other mills use, and lowest level of impurities resulting in better product not only Physically but Chemically as well, which makes the end material confirming to minimum yield strength > 72,500 psi, and Tensile strength > 100,000 without water treatment and tempering with uniform strength level achieved in each element of bars.

Mostly the Billets manufactured locally in Pakistan are all produced from Cast Billets (using primarily waste metal scrap instead of iron Ore while the finished steel just fulfills physical testing requirements only, whereas the imported material fulfills 100% standards required Chemical as well as Physical properties, which should be present in Steel.

Testing Labs

For Deformed Steel Bars testing we have latest in-house fully computerized Servo Controlled Laboratory, and we are regarded as probably the only production facility which encourages customers to test samples from their respective orders and in their presence for transparent results, getting better idea of what they are buying, while Mill test reports are generated with specific heat numbers for each production lot and also provided to customers.

Before the material is supplied to consumers, we undergo testing of material on daily basis to ensure the required strength and standards are met.
